Easy Cajun-spiced hake tacos
We’ve never met a fish taco we didn’t like and this one, which stars Woolworths Cajun Dusted Hake Fillets, is as delicious to eat as it is easy to make.

For the hake tacos:
450 g Woolworths Frozen Cajun Dusted Hake Fillets
4 Woolworths Tortilla Wraps
2 T olive or neutral oil
2-3 t Woolworths Mild Mexican Seasoning
1 x 300 g Woolworths Rainbow Slaw
1 x 180 g Woolworths Basil Pesto Mayo
1 x 40 g Woolworths Pink Onion Petals
Chillies, chopped, for serving
For the guacamole, mix:
3 ripe avocados, mashed
1 T thick plain yoghurt
2-3 spring onions, sliced
Zest and juice of 1 lime or lemon
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
METHOD:
- Preheat the oven to 220°C. Bake the hake fillets according to package instructions. Char the wraps over an open flame or over coals.
- Heat the oil in a pan and add the Mexican seasoning When the oil starts to bubble, add each wrap and fry for a few seconds on one side only to absorb the spices, then remove from the heat.
- To assemble, add a scoop of guacamole to the spiced side of the wrap. Top with the rainbow slaw, baked hake, a drizzle of basil pesto mayo and pink pickled onions to finish.
