There’s a lot to love about winter: rainy Sundays in bed, layering, roaring fires… but comforting food is by far the best winter perk. There’s something about that crisp bite in the air that demands a hearty plate of delicious food. Let’s be honest, a Sunday roast is pretty much the flannel pyjamas of winter food… casual, comforting and quite irresistible.
Cosy up and grab your carving knife, because it’s time for a good old-fashioned roast.
ROAST PORK WITH A WILD MUSHROOM STUFFING AND SPICED APPLE SAUCE
Pull apart tender meat and crunch on some ultra-crisp crackling. It's not the most gorgeous roast, but you'd be hard pressed to find one more flavourful.
Pair it with in-season fruit and vegetables like apples, grapes, pumpkim, mushrooms and carrots.

SPICY PLUM-AND-APPLE FREE-RANGE DUCK
A whole roasted duck doesn't have to be laborious task. With just one hour cook time and 10 minutes of prep, you can have a juicy bird with crisp skin.
