Napa Jack's Roasted Chicken
Ingredients
- 2-3 tbsp Napa jack's Original BBQ Sauce + 1 tbsp for basting
- 3 Tbsp olive oil, to drizzle
- ground pepper
- 6-8 chicken drumsticks, washed and pat dry
- 1/4 cup ginger ale

Cooking Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees Celsius). Have ready an oven baking dish.
- Brush the baking dish bottom, sides and top rim with olive oil, and arrange drumsticks on bottom skin-side up.
- Season the drumsticks on both sides with Napa Jack’s Poultry Seasoning Rub.
- In a small bowl, mix together about 2-3 tbsp Napa Jack’s Original BBQ Sauce with ginger ale, combing well.
- Pour BBQ sauce/ginger ale mixture over chicken drumsticks and make sure all sides are coated in the mixture.
- Place the uncovered baking dish with drumsticks into the preheated oven.
- Roast for 15 minutes, and then baste with BBQ sauce and return to oven.
- Repeat basting every 15 minutes until chicken drumsticks are done.
- For the last time, when the chicken is done, re-baste, and return to the oven under the broiler to crisp up, with the temperature dial turned to broil. With the oven door ajar, broil the drumsticks for 2-4 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and serve.
